Another phone or computer is added by signing in. QR linking is not available.

A new device sees new messages
It can read messages sent after it joins. Older encrypted history is not restored from a backup.

Remove a device
Revoke a device you no longer use. Its sessions end, and encryption moves forward without it.

Shared settings
Privacy and notification settings belong to the account. Drafts stay on the device you typed them on.
Stories
Short updates, not a second messaging system.
